Seattle Lifestyle Photographer

Capturing you and your family at your most comfortable, your most authentic, your most you.

Capturing the
Nostalgia of Now

When it comes to photographing you and your family, I do things a little differently. Because photography isn’t about an image. It’s not about perfect poses or fake smiles or artificial vibes. It’s a perfectly imperfect retelling of life. It’s about stopping time, when it feels like it’s moving too fast, catching people in their most human form, and moving people with absolute stillness.

Photography is about trust, and comfort, and empathy. And that’s what I bring as a Seattle lifestyle photographer. Every session. Every picture. Every family.

What I Do

  • The magic of analog film is that it can’t be replicated. Where digital allows for repetition, film is about capturing an exact moment. During our time together we’ll make our way through two rolls of 35MM film. In the end, you’ll get beautiful, nostalgic looking pictures that feel like going through an old photobook, and take you right back to the great time we had creating them.

  • Digital photography lets us capture those unplanned, unexpected moments. It also involves editing on the back end, to tweak and enhance–but never to distort or change the moment we captured. Digital photography is clean, crispy and allows this Seattle lifestyle photographer to move quickly and miss nothing.

  • You remember the feeling of sitting together and watching home movies? Let’s bring it back with some dreamy Super 8 footage. I know what you’re thinking–”that's not photography,” and you’re right. Super 8 is groovy, cropped-off, lo-fi motion film that’ll capture the moment and the vibe in a way you’ll want to watch over and over and over. And now you can!

If you need to reschedule, you’ll receive an updated scheduling link with a list of available dates and times.
